Bradweld are delighted to announce that they have achieved the BS EN 1090. The BS EN 1090 is now mandatory for all manufacturers that are involved in structural steelwork. It includes all products such as steel sections, bolts, welding and fabricated steel components that are used in building, bridges, highways or any other civil engineering project..
CE Marking of Structural Steelwork
With all Structural Steelwork it is now a now a requirement to use CE Marking which is a declaration by you, as the manufacturer, as to that your product meets certain pre-defined public safety requirements. The public safety requirements are a number/ set of Essential Characteristics that each product must satisfy and these characteristics are given in the product’s harmonised standard.
The standard that covers CE Marking of structural steelwork is BS EN 1090
